Malcesine Castle

We were married in the castle at Malcesine in September 2024 and the day was everything that we imagined and more. Malcesine is a beautiful town and we, along with our guests, were blown away by the dramatic setting—perfect for our small wedding.

When we initially saw the castle online, we were hesitant to book, (We hadn’t seen the venue in real life, were LGW an actual company or am I corresponding with a bot!) but the entire process was made incredibly simple due to the professionalism of Gwen, Deborah and Christina. At every point where our action was required we were contacted by the team and every request for paperwork, etc was dealt with efficiently and with minimal fuss.

On arrival in Malcesine, we had a meeting arranged with Christina and Gwen to talk final arrangements and photography and we were given a tour of the venues (The castle, La Voglia) and final paperwork in the town hall. The wonderful Christina was our guide, translator and general trouble-shooter for the entire wedding day from prior to the ceremony until mid-evening and the day passed perfectly. The food at La Voglia was fantastic and the team at the restaurant accommodated our guests with great courtesy.

Gwen handled all of the photography with great humour and patience and the photos are amazing, despite my appearance in many of them!

All in all it was the most perfect day – Many thanks to Gwen, Deborah and Christina for all their efforts in arranging and making it so.
