Hi Gwen, Annabel, Deborah and Sara
Well, we’re home and trying to switch back into whatever normality is going to be after Vickie and Chris’s fairytale Italian castle wedding.
I looked back through my emails just now and saw that it’s been nearly two years since I first got in touch with you to set the ball rolling. How that time has flown by! Because of my background in London based PR and event organising I was rather anxious as we had to commit to the castle venue before we had a chance to come and investigate. However once we stepped out of our cab on arrival in Malcesine in May 2017 we were all completely blown away by what we saw. And it has gone on from there.
The castle is a stunning venue that couldn’t be bettered; a mixture of majestic splendour with an intimate ceremony terrace and breathtaking views. Malcesine itself has so much charm and beauty that all of us, young and old, have just fallen in love with it. La Voglia Pete and I have now visited four times. We’re are very impressed by its beautiful setting and the excellent food we have enjoyed on every occasion.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly of all, it has been a real pleasure to work with you all throughout the whole process. I have had all my queries dealt with promptly, reassuringly and efficiently by Deborah and Annabel, Sara was a wonderfully calm, quietly firm and thoughtful presence on the day and Gwen was amazing in organising everyone (herding cats springs to mind!) whilst taking the most creative and brilliant shots I have ever seen and I’m not just saying that, I’ve worked with numerous professional London based photographers over the years so I have a high level of comparison. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending LGW and Malcesine to anyone who’s thinking of marrying in Italy.
So it’s thanks for everything you’ve all done to make their wedding so special and bye for now
With love
Hilary xxxx
